ART ON THE EDGE: Call for sculptors, installation artists, painters and performers

BRINK, a 'not for profit' contemporary art organisation based in the Midlands, is currently viewing proposals from sculptors, installation artists, painters and performers for an up-coming one-day, open-air exhibition that we are organising at the Lions Grand Show, in Abbey Fields, Kenilworth on 11th June 2011.

The proposal can be on any theme, but please take into consideration that the works will be on display to families and therefore must not contain references of an offensive or religious nature.  We reserve the right to refuse submissions that we deem unsuitable.

Works must be safe and preferably free-standing.

Details

To submit your work please send the following information via e-mail:
  • Images or drawings of the proposed projects (you can send more than one);
  • a brief description of the work and materials;
  • artist statement and biography;
  • any eventual links to your work.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to refund travel expenses, insurance of the works, or costs for materials.

There is no submission fee. However, although we will do everything we can to acquire funding from our sponsors, selected artists may be required to contribute towards public liability insurance and printing costs. This fee will be no more than £15 and will depend on how many artists exhibit at the show.
