NO:ID Gallery, a network of London-based artists, has now spread its tentacles all the way up to the Midlands.
With a network of almost 5000 artists, the NO:ID gallery has held over 100 shows, promoting unknown artists and artistic diversity.
At Gallery150 on 28th of February, this artist-led group will be holding a group show of featuring the work of four artists from the UK, Spain and Germany.
JUAN-JOSÉ BRAVO, from Madrid, will be presenting a cheeky series of sculptures called ‘Internal Landscapes’, which combine the use of organic materials with Perspex, resulting in works that investigate the link between the internal and the external.
London artist, VERONICA FOX creates abstract paintings on canvas, leading the observer on a fascinating journey into the realms of thought and perception.
MARTIN LAU, from London, is a photographer of Chinese-English origins. His primary interest lies in the pictorial recreation of landscapes and stills, which capture instances of life that have a life of their own.
JAN SUCHANEK, from Hamburg, is a conceptual artist, curator-presenter, and gallery manager for NO:ID . In this show, the artist will be presenting “NO:ID Queen”, now an icon of the NO:ID Gallery, where present day iconography meets with Vivienne Westwood’s, Sex Pistols t-shirt designs and the prints of Andy Warhol.
The showcase will be running until 13th March 2011.
