ART ON THE EDGE

On 11th June 2011, BRINK will be showcasing the first Art on the Edge contemporary art exhibition at the Lions Grand Show in Abbey Fields, Kenilworth.

Artists from all over the region have been invited to exhibit their works and many of them will be painting or creating works of art on the day. From bizarre installation works to live painting, sculpture and contemporary-style Indian folk art, this dynamic and light-hearted outdoor exhibition will have something for both art enthusiasts and the curious alike.

Most of the exhibiting artists will be present on the day, making this an interesting opportunity for the public to engage with the artists and watch them while they work. Art on the Edge will also be the stage of an artists’ picnic, further highlighting the social and fun element of the event.

Regional artists interested in taking part can do so by sending a biography, CV and 5-10 images to brinkevents@gmail.com. The call for submissions is open until 30th April 2011. Further information on BRINK can be found on the organisation’s website: http://www.wix.com/brinkevents/home.
